I used to land in Vegas…

LOL.  That title refers to the words of a song that I THOUGHT I was singing.  Note, the line is “Houstatlantavegas” (as in Houston, Atlanta and Vegas rolled into one word).  NOW, we are not debating the stupidity of lyrics because that is a WHOLE ‘nother discussion, but have you ever SWORN the words to a song were X and turned out to be….like B?!??!? SOOOO funny…this particular ditty comes from a Drake song, Houstatlantavegas (used to land in Vegas) LOL.  Definitely check out this song…and laugh at my ridiculousness.  Other funny ones that stick out in my head…

“To the republic for which it stands” (pledge of allegiance) was once turned into “To the Republic for Richard Stance…”  by an 8 year old..who then asked, “Who is Richard Stance…”  seriously.

How about this one…” Sitting on top of the world, Ricki Lake’s hanging free”  – originally “sitting on top of the world, with your legs hanging free.”  (Dave Matthews Band) LOL  How funny!?!?!  Are there song lyrics you have badly butchered?  DO tell!

  1. “Hang on Sloopy” The McCoys= “Hang on stupid” or “Hang on Snoopy”

“There’s a bad moon on the rise” CCR = “There’s a bathroom on the right”

“There’s gonna be a heartache tonight” The Eagles = “There’s gonna be a party tonight”

“Joy to the fishes in the deep blue sea” Three Dog Night = “Joy to the bishops and the deaconse”

Hopefully this made you laugh. I got a million of um !!
