“Oh we’ll all have chicken n’ dumplings when she cooooooomes” yup. My mama brain is infusing even my food choices! So, I made a PERFECT and EASY chicken n’dumplings in the crock today. If you don’t like using condensed soup, read no further. But seriously, this is WAS DELISH! You will need:
1 lb chicken breast (boneless)
2 cans reduced fat/sodium cream of chicken soup
1 tbsp butter
half can water (use soup can)
One frozen bag mixed veggies (I use steamfresh-yum)
sprinkle of onion powder
sprinkle of garlic powder
sprinkle of pepper
Can of refrigerator biscuits
Combine all ingredients in the crock pot EXCEPT for the biscuits.
Cook on high for 6-7 hours. Shred the chicken before the last hour of cooking. Then, spread biscuits over the top. Cook for additional 30-40 minutes unit dough is cooked thorough. YUMMMMMM!
